GAMA Foods, one of the top 3 poultry integrators in the Philippines, is seeking a meticulous and reliable Welder / Fabricator to join our maintenance and operations team in Iloilo City. As our Welder / Fabricator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities. You will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of specialized equipment and structural components essential to our poultry integration processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform high-quality welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) on various equipment, pipelines, and structural steel components.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom machine parts or plant infrastructure.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment to identify potential wear, tear, or structural fatigue.
- Repair and modify existing machinery to ensure continuous operational uptime in a food-processing environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while strictly adhering to workplace safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute preventative maintenance schedules.
- Operate power tools and metal fabrication machinery, including saws, grinders, and drill presses.
- Document all repairs and fabrication projects accurately for inventory and reporting purposes.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
- Relevant vocational certification or a TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in Welding/Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials.
- Deep understanding of safety protocols related to hot work and industrial machinery.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a high-performing maintenance team.
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts or be available for emergency maintenance call-outs.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP or GMP) is an advantage but not required.
