Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and maintain the main propulsion engine and auxiliary machinery systems
- Supervise engine room operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems
- Coordinate with the Chief Engineer on operational priorities and technical issues
- Manage inventory of spare parts and engineering supplies
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff as needed
- Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 4 contracts as 2nd Engineer on LPG/Gas Tankers
- Valid and complete seafarer documents (STCW, COC, etc.)
- Engineering degree or equivalent maritime certification
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems on tankers
- Experience with LPG cargo handling systems is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging conditions
