Papajaya Agung is a well-established coil center with over 25 years of experience in providing premium iron and steel cutting services. Since our inception in 1995, we have been a trusted partner in the manufacturing and logistics industry, known for our quality and reliability. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Import Staff to join our dynamic team in Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import process. You will act as the bridge between our international suppliers and our local operations, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate, compliant with regulations, and submitted on time. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and process all import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to arrange timely shipments for steel coils and materials.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and import laws.
- Monitor shipment status and update the internal team regarding any delays or changes in transit.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming shipments against purchase orders and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of import activities in the company ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with international partners to resolve logistical issues.
Kualifikasi
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably within the manufacturing or steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs procedures and HS Codes.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required for communicating with international partners.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy, specifically in MS Excel and ERP software.
