Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook meals for crew members according to established menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure proper food storage and maintain cleanliness in the galley area
- Manage inventory of food supplies and request replenishments as needed
- Adapt cooking methods to accommodate limited resources at sea
- Follow safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and handling
- Coordinate with other crew members to ensure meal schedules are maintained
- Handle special dietary requests and preferences of crew members
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in maritime or similar environments
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in confined spaces
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and meal planning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid seafarer's certification or willingness to obtain necessary certifications
