Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for 15-25 crew members daily
- Manage galley inventory, procurement, and food storage systems
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
- Adapt menus to dietary restrictions and multicultural preferences
- Operate and maintain galley equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with Chief Steward and deck crew for operational harmony
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with maritime regulations
Kualifikasi
- Certified Seafarer Cook or equivalent maritime culinary qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in commercial vessel galley operations
- Valid Seafarer's Book and STCW certification
- Strong knowledge of food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adapt to rolling schedules
- Physical fitness to handle bulk food supplies and heavy equipment
- Basic first aid and firefighting certification preferred
