Join Insular Oil Corporation as an Acidulation Operator and play a pivotal role in our refining operations. You will control and execute the acid treatment process to remove impurities from critical by-products including Acid Oil, Glycerin, and Wash Water in CME production. This position requires precision in monitoring chemical reactions, adjusting process parameters, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency while maintaining environmental compliance. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with industrial chemical processes and a commitment to operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and control acid treatment processes to remove impurities from by-products (Acid Oil, Glycerin, Wash Water)
- Operate and maintain acidulation equipment including pumps, reactors, and control systems
- Conduct quality tests and adjust process parameters to ensure product specifications
- Document production data and maintain accurate process records
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance team for equipment troubleshooting and optimization
- Train junior operators on standard operating procedures
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or vocational certificate in Chemical Technology or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in chemical processing or refinery operations
- Knowledge of acid treatment processes and by-product handling
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards (OSHA/DOLE compliance)
- Ability to read technical manuals and process schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts
