In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our bidding process, transforming complex structural requirements into accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates.
As an Advance Engineer within our Civil Works division, you will collaborate closely with procurement, project management, and site engineers to ensure our tender submissions are technically sound and commercially viable. We are looking for an expert who understands the nuances of civil and structural construction costs, market fluctuations, and the importance of data-driven decision-making. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including comprehensive quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify key project risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate their compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and their impact on construction methodology and costs.
- Participate in bid review meetings and provide technical insights to support leadership in the final tender submission.
- Maintain and update the company’s cost database to ensure reflect current market labor, equipment, and material rates.
- Review and interpret project variations to provide accurate change order pricing during the project lifecycle.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Professional License (PRC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically for large-scale civil and structural projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, labor productivity standards, and material cost management.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, capable of negotiating effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural blueprints.
