Molex is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in the quality planning lifecycle for new product introductions, ensuring that every launch meets the highest standards of excellence and customer satisfaction.
You will act as the critical bridge between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams, driving flawless execution while proactively mitigating risks before they impact production. Your expertise in APQP and PPAP will be crucial in ensuring compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead AQP Process: Own and drive the Advanced Quality Planning process for new product development, ensuring strict alignment with customer specifications and Molex quality standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate potential design and process risks.
- Launch Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for cross-functional new product launches, ensuring seamless communication between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- PPAP Management: Manage the preparation, verification, and approval of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Quality Planning: Develop and maintain detailed quality control plans, including process flowcharts, control plans, and inspection criteria.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet quality requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to drive defect reduction and process stability.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, specifically within the electronics manufacturing or connector industry.
- Methodologies: Strong working knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Tools: Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and quality management software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
