Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cutting-edge artificial intelligence? We are seeking a highly experienced AI R&D Department Head to lead our technology evolution in Jakarta. In this pivotal role, you will define the strategic direction of our AI initiatives, overseeing multi-disciplinary squads to build, deploy, and scale AI models that provide tangible operational and financial value.
You will serve as the bridge between technical excellence and business strategy, collaborating closely with Data & Analytics, Engineering, and executive stakeholders. Tanggung Jawab
- Define and execute the long-term AI R&D roadmap aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Lead and mentor high-performing AI/ML squads, overseeing the full lifecycle from research to production deployment.
- Bridge the gap between complex data science capabilities and business unit requirements to drive operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and robust infrastructure for AI model development.
- Monitor global AI trends and emerging technologies to maintain our position at the forefront of the industry.
- Drive the development of scalable AI architectures that optimize financial performance and automate manual workflows.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and talent acquisition strategies to support R&D initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering and scaling enterprise-grade AI/ML models into production environments.
- Expertise in Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), LLMs, and cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical executives.
- A strategic mindset with a strong emphasis on ROI-driven development and process innovation.
