This specialized position requires expertise in repairing and fabricating composite components used in aerospace applications. You will work in our advanced Changi facility, utilizing cutting-edge materials and technologies to ensure aircraft meet rigorous safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with carbon fiber, fiberglass, and honeycomb composites, coupled with a meticulous approach to quality control. - Repair and fabricate aircraft composite structures using specialized techniques
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on composite components
- Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Apply advanced bonding and curing processes for composite assemblies
- Document maintenance activities and compliance with aviation standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve structural issues
- Maintain inventory of composite materials and consumables
- Ensure adherence to FAA/EASA and company safety protocols
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in aircraft composite repair
- Certification in composite materials (e.g., NDT Level II)
- Familiarity with FAA Part 145 regulations
- Proficiency in composite repair methodologies (wet layup, prepreg)
- Knowledge of aerospace materials science
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints
