Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and plan daily airfreight shipments, ensuring optimal space utilization and cost-efficiency across various routes.
- Liaise closely with airlines and General Sales Agents (GSAs) to secure cargo space and negotiate competitive freight rates.
- Monitor flight schedules and cargo status in real-time, providing proactive updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage all essential shipping documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB), manifest declarations, and customs permits.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations and ground handling teams to ensure timely cargo lodgement and retrieval at the terminal.
- Identify and resolve operational discrepancies, such as offloads or delays, to minimize impact on delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate data entry in the freight management system for seamless billing and performance reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study.
- At least 2 years of professional experience specifically within airfreight operations or freight forwarding.
- Comprehensive understanding of IATA regulations, incoterms, and international shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., CargoWise) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with carriers.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- A high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
