Foodpanda is looking for an experienced Android Engineer II to join our high-growth Marketplace domain in Singapore. As part of our regional Product team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food delivery technology.
In this role, you will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and backend engineers. We leverage cutting-edge Android development practices to solve complex logistics challenges and enhance user engagement. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with product designers to implement intuitive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Optimize app performance, including memory management, battery efficiency, and network latency.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high code quality standards.
- Integrate complex third-party APIs and internal backend services to power marketplace features.
- Participate in full-cycle product development from requirement gathering to deployment and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring a stable and reliable experience for our customers.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Android development with a strong command of Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components, MVVM/MVI design patterns, and Dagger/Hilt.
- Proven track record of publishing high-quality applications to the Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with RxJava or Coroutines and deep understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Espresso, JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment.
