Test Research Innovation Malaysia, a global leader in automated testing and inspection solutions, is seeking a dedicated and skilled AOI/SPI/AXI Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team in Senai, Johor.
In this pivotal role, you will be the technical backbone for our customers, providing world-class support, training, and on-site expertise for our cutting-edge Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), and Automated X-Ray Inspection (AXI) systems. You will work closely with clients to optimize their manufacturing processes, driving quality and efficiency in their electronics assembly lines.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of AOI, SPI, and AXI systems at customer manufacturing facilities.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal production downtime.
- Conduct comprehensive training programs for customer engineers and operators to maximize the effectiveness of inspection solutions.
- Collaborate with customer process and quality teams to optimize inspection programs and improve overall defect detection rates.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and our R&D department, providing critical feedback for product enhancements.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, service reports, and application notes for diverse customer environments.
- Stay current with the latest SMT technologies and industry best practices to deliver proactive and innovative solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a Field Application Engineer or Technical Support role within the SMT or semiconductor industry.
- Proven technical expertise in AOI, SPI, and/or AXI systems, including programming, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of SMT manufacturing processes, soldering technologies, and industry quality standards (e.g., IPC-610).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a customer-facing environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with strong proficiency in English (multilingual candidates are highly preferred).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region to provide on-site support and build strong client relationships.
