We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Engineer to join our growing team in the Central Region. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud technology and scientific instrumentation. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS and Visual Basic to drive the development and maintenance of critical microscopy applications.
As a Regional Application Engineer, you will be the technical face of our solutions, ensuring that our clients maximize the value of their hardware and software investments. You will manage cloud infrastructure on AWS while maintaining legacy VB applications, ensuring seamless integration and high performance. This position requires a blend of technical coding skills, field support capabilities, and excellent communication abilities to assist clients across the region.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Visual Basic (VB) and AWS cloud services.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for microscopy equipment and associated software systems.
- Travel to client sites within the Central Region to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to translate technical requirements into robust engineering solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure system stability for end-users.
- Document technical specifications, installation procedures, and user manuals.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on system usage and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Visual Basic (VB) programming and AWS cloud platform.
- Previous experience in Application Engineering or a related technical support role.
- Familiarity with microscopy systems, lab equipment, or scientific instrumentation is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and clients.
