We are seeking a dedicated APU Manager (Molding) to join our production team in Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between production efficiency and customer satisfaction, overseeing Autonomous Production Unit (APU) operations to ensure world-class quality and delivery standards.
You will lead the end-to-end management of the molding APU, focusing on optimizing processes, deploying VPS (Value Stream) methodologies, and conducting rigorous root-cause analysis for Customer Line Returns. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Molding APU to ensure KPIs for productivity, quality, and safety are met.
- Drive Customer Line Return (CLR) analysis, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues directly with key stakeholders.
- Manage and execute the VPS (Value Stream) deployment plan to minimize waste and maximize process flow.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of ownership, technical expertise, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor APU performance metrics, providing detailed reporting to management on production yields and efficiency gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to streamline production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all ISO and company-specific quality management systems within the molding unit.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, specifically within the molding sector.
- Strong proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and VPS tools.
- Proven track record in managing customer quality issues and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex production data.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production monitoring software.
