Architectural Engineer (Business Development & Design Management)

You will not only oversee architectural designs but also play a key role in winning new work and shaping the technical strategy of our construction and infrastructure projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the architectural design management process from conceptual design through to construction documentation for building and infrastructure projects.
- Bridge business development and technical execution by preparing technical proposals, design concepts, and feasibility studies for new project bids.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (project management, MEP, structural) and external consultants to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Conduct value engineering and design optimization exercises to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Ensure all architectural deliverables comply with Malaysian building bylaws (UBBL), local authority requirements, and CSCEC corporate standards.
- Manage the design budget and schedule, tracking milestones and reporting progress to senior management.
- Support business development activities including client presentations, site visits, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Implement and oversee BIM standards and digital workflows to improve coordination across project teams.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Professional registration with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) or valid professional accreditation.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in architectural engineering, with a strong focus on design management and construction projects.
- Proven experience in business development, technical proposals, and client-facing roles within the construction industry.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other design and collaboration software (BIM experience is mandatory).
- Deep understanding of Malaysian construction standards, contract law, and procurement methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for liaison with headquarters.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
