Join the creative team at Global Montessori School in Kalideres, Jakarta Raya! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art & Craft Teacher to inspire young artists in our nurturing Montessori environment. This part-time role is perfect for a creative professional passionate about fostering creativity, self-expression, and fine motor skills in children.
In this position, you will design and implement engaging art curriculums that align with Montessori principles, guiding students through a variety of hands-on projects using diverse materials. You will create a supportive classroom atmosphere where students feel empowered to explore their artistic potential, experiment with new techniques, and develop their unique artistic voices. Collaborating with our experienced educators, you will play a vital role in the holistic development of our students through the medium of art.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and deliver age-appropriate art and craft lessons that align with Montessori educational philosophy.
- Instruct students on the proper and safe use of various art tools, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and organize art supplies, ensuring all materials are readily available for daily activities.
- Foster a safe, creative, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression.
- Organize seasonal art exhibitions and classroom displays to showcase student achievements.
- Mentor students in developing essential fine motor skills through hands-on tactile projects.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field; Montessori certification is a strong plus.
- Previous experience teaching art to young children (ages 3-6) in a school or educational setting.
- Deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring art studio/classroom.
