Quess is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated AS/400 Developer to join our dynamic team in Bonifacio Global City. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our core enterprise systems during mid/night shift operations.
As an AS/400 specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and performance of our legacy systems while working on modernizing code bases using RPG IV and RPG Free. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges, improve system efficiency, and support critical business processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and enhance robust software applications using RPG IV and RPG Free.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable AS/400 code.
- Perform comprehensive testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of existing modules to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Manage system documentation and ensure all code complies with organizational coding standards and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability during night shift operations.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers when required.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in AS/400 RPG development.
- Strong proficiency in RPG IV and RPG Free programming languages.
- Solid understanding of IBM i (AS/400) operating system, CL (Control Language), and DB2 database management.
- Experience with application modernization projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a mid/night shift environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a distributed team.
