Luxoft is establishing a premier technology centre in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and we are looking for a dedicated AS400 Developer to join our elite Technology and Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving our core legacy systems while integrating modern solutions to support our rapid business growth.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications on the AS400 (IBM i) platform.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using RPG/ILE, CL, and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for business operations.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Modernize legacy codebases to improve performance and compatibility with modern web service APIs.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high quality standards and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for all system developments and changes.
- Ensure data integrity and security compliance across all AS400 database environments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in AS400/IBM i development.
- Strong proficiency in RPG (Free Format), ILE RPG, CL, and DB2/400.
- Experience with SQL and stored procedures on the IBM i platform is highly required.
- Proven track record of managing system upgrades, performance tuning, and batch job optimization.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (e.g., Rational Developer for i, Git).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work within an Agile/Scrum framework.
