Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily food preparation and mise-en-place to ensure service readiness.
  • Prepare ingredients, stocks, and sauces according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring minimal food wastage and optimal stock rotation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Support in developing new menu items and creative culinary presentations.
  • Assist in the supervision of junior kitchen staff and trainees when required.

Kualifikasi

  • Professional Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or Assistant Chef in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for consistent food quality.
  • Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
