Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily production of bakery items, pastries, and desserts to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Develop and innovate new menu items and seasonal specialties in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Manage and mentor a team of bakers and pastry cooks, providing training and guidance to ensure skill development.
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP standards, health regulations, and hygiene protocols within the pastry kitchen.
- Control food costs and inventory levels, minimizing waste while maximizing quality.
- Ensure the bakery equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
- Assist in menu planning and costing for special events and banquets.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
- Culinary diploma or certification in Pastry Arts or Baking from a recognized institution.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a kitchen team effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of baking ingredients, techniques, and presentation.
- Valid Singaporean work pass or eligibility to work in Singapore.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
