As the Assistant Chief Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, comfort, and operational efficiency across our property. You will assist the Chief Engineer in supervising the engineering department, overseeing daily maintenance operations, managing technical projects, and ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systemsâincluding complex HVAC and electrical installationsâoperate at peak performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Chief Engineer in directing and managing the daily operations of the Engineering department, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical installations, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the engineering team to ensure high productivity, safety adherence, and technical excellence.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or areas for energy conservation and operational improvement.
- Manage engineering inventory, spare parts procurement, and relations with external contractors or vendors.
- Ensure full compliance with local government regulations, building codes, and environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.
- Provide swift and effective emergency response to technical breakdowns or critical utility failures.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in the same position (Assistant Chief Engineer) or as a Senior Engineer, preferably within the hospitality or property management sector.
- In-depth technical knowledge of electrical installations, HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building automation systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with hotel operating standards, budget management, and energy conservation practices is highly desirable.
