Clarks, a globally recognized footwear brand known for its heritage and commitment to quality, is seeking a meticulous and professional Assistant Company Secretarial Officer to join our Kuala Lumpur team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our corporate governance and regulatory compliance remain at the highest standard.
You will work closely with the management team and external stakeholders to provide high-level administrative support, manage statutory filings, and facilitate smooth corporate operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid foundation in the Malaysian Companies Act and corporate governance standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Coordinate and organize board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings, including the preparation of agendas and board papers.
- Drafting accurate and concise minutes of meetings and following up on action items.
- Maintaining and updating the company's statutory registers and minute books.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including Listing Requirements if applicable.
- Liaising with external auditors, tax agents, lawyers, and relevant government authorities.
- Supporting the Company Secretary in daily administrative tasks and ad-hoc corporate secretarial projects.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or ICSA/MAICSA professional qualification (or currently pursuing).
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar corporate secretarial role within a professional firm or public listed company.
- Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant regulatory guidelines in Malaysia.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and corporate secretarial software.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Malay is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict regulatory deadlines.
