In this pivotal role, you will act as a key driver of our catering operations, blending strategic sales leadership with operational excellence to elevate our brand presence in the competitive Central Region hospitality market.

As the Assistant Director of Catering, you will lead the charge in identifying new business opportunities, managing high-profile client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of events. You will work closely with the Director of Catering and the broader sales team to refine our service offerings, optimize revenue streams, and maintain the high standard of service our guests have come to expect from the Four Points brand.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute comprehensive catering sales strategies to drive revenue and exceed quarterly/annual targets.
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of key accounts, providing personalized service to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Oversee the end-to-end event planning process, coordinating closely with kitchen, banquet, and AV teams to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust pricing strategies and service packages proactively.
  • Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, networking events, and client presentations to increase market share.
  • Train and mentor the catering sales team to improve conversion rates, negotiation skills, and product knowledge.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and financial reports for executive management review.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to promote catering promotions and special event packages through digital and print channels.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in catering sales, banquet management, or hotel event operations, ideally within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, or similar catering software).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A deep understanding of local market trends within the Singapore hospitality sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
