Are you a seasoned hospitality sales professional with a passion for luxury brand excellence? Shangri-La Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Director of Sales to lead cluster-wide initiatives for the iconic Shangri-La Rasa Sayang and Shangri-La Golden Sands in Penang.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive cluster sales strategies to drive room revenue and market share for both Rasa Sayang and Golden Sands.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass individual and cluster KPIs.
- Identify and penetrate new market segments, while nurturing existing high-value corporate, travel trade, and MICE accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct regular market analysis to anticipate trends, competitor activities, and economic shifts in the regional tourism sector.
- Represent Shangri-La at major industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and detailed reports for senior management, providing actionable insights for business growth.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 3 years in a management capacity within luxury or upscale resorts.
- Proven track record of managing multi-property or cluster sales environments is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian and international luxury hospitality market.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in hotel sales management software (SFA) and property management systems (PMS).
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
