Join the team at SMRT Trains as an Assistant Engineer, KCDe ECS & EMF, and play a pivotal role in maintaining the backbone of Singapore's public transport infrastructure. In this specialized role, you will be responsible for the technical integrity and operational efficiency of Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and Electromagnetic Field (EMF) systems within our depot environments.
You will work alongside a team of expert engineers to ensure that our transit facilities meet stringent safety and reliability standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on Environmental Control Systems (ECS) to ensure optimal station and depot climate control.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibration of EMF-sensitive equipment and related electrical monitoring systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults within ECS and EMF infrastructure, minimizing system downtime.
- Coordinate with technical teams to execute equipment upgrades and system retrofits as per safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, service logs, and maintenance reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support engineering projects by assisting with field testing, data collection, and safety site supervision.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols and company standard operating procedures during all onsite activities.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in facility management, rail infrastructure, or building services (Fresh graduates with a strong passion for the rail industry are welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, building management systems, or electrical distribution networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for technical detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Willingness to perform shift duties or work in a depot environment as required by operational needs.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic technical drawing software.
