Join SMRT Trains, the backbone of Singapore's public transport network, as an Assistant Engineer, Power Maintenance. In this pivotal role, you will support the maintenance and troubleshooting of critical power systems, including substations, switchrooms, and traction power distribution networks. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of electrical power systems and substations to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults in traction power distribution networks and associated equipment.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of preventive maintenance schedules to extend asset lifespan.
- Ensure strict compliance with Singapore's electrical safety standards (SS 586) and SMRT's safety protocols.
- Monitor system performance data and prepare detailed technical reports for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Participate in on-call standby duties and emergency response activities as required.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in power systems maintenance, ideally within the MRT or rail industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations, circuit protection, and distribution systems.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments, meters, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as per operational requirements.
- Valid Singapore Work Pass (e.g., EP/SP) is required for foreign applicants.
