Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a dedicated Assistant Engineering Manager / Duty Engineer to join our team in the vibrant heart of Little India, Singapore. In this role, you will be the backbone of our property's operational integrity, ensuring that every guest experiences the comfort, safety, and reliability synonymous with the Hilton brand.
You will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and serve as a key decision-maker during your duty shifts. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining our high-quality facilities to the highest international standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the engineering team to ensure high-quality maintenance of all hotel guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Execute and monitor a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and rectify safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
- Manage external contractors and service providers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
- Serve as the Duty Engineer, providing rapid technical support and decision-making during emergencies or guest service disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of energy consumption, utility costs, and maintenance logs for operational reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with local fire safety regulations, building codes, and Hilton brand engineering standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel facility management or commercial building maintenance.
- Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire protection protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a multi-disciplinary technical team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Current certification in Fire Safety Management or specialized trade licenses will be considered a significant advantage.
