The St. Regis Singapore, a landmark of elegance on Tanglin Road, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to join its prestigious team.
As Assistant Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the flawless operation of our iconic property. You will support the Engineering Manager in overseeing all engineering operations, including the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and life safety systems. Your leadership will guide a team of skilled technicians to maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and comfortâcritical to the St. Regis guest experience. You will also be responsible for the management of the building management system (BMS) and implementing energy conservation measures.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance programs, managing departmental budgets (including operational and capital expenses), monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating with external contractors for major repairs and renovation projects. You will also be responsible for training and developing your team, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and safety codes, and responding promptly to operational emergencies and guest requests. Your ability to collaborate with other departmentsâsuch as Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverageâwill be essential in delivering seamless, extraordinary service to our guests.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in managing the engineering department, including hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
- Oversee the preventive maintenance program for all hotel equipment and facilities
- Monitor and control energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage budgets, including capital expenditures and operating expenses
- Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and security procedures are followed
- Conduct inspections and audits to maintain quality standards
- Assist in renovation and refurbishment projects
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering management, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
