Shangri-La Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Events & Operations Manager, Family Experience to join our team in the Central Region. In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our family-centric programming, ensuring that every guest interaction is seamless, magical, and aligned with our world-class hospitality standards.
As part of our operations team, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end event execution, from conceptualization to post-event analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to curate immersive experiences that delight children and parents alike, reinforcing Shangri-La’s position as a premier destination for family travel. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily planning and execution of family-oriented events and activations within the resort or hotel property.
- Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping) to ensure a seamless family experience from check-in to checkout.
- Manage operational budgets, inventory for kids' amenities, and logistics for recurring and seasonal family programming.
- Monitor guest feedback to refine service standards and elevate the quality of interactive family activities.
- Supervise part-time staff and facilitators, ensuring all safety protocols and brand standards are strictly followed.
- Assist in the development of new creative initiatives and event concepts that align with the Shangri-La brand identity.
- Ensure that all event spaces remain impeccably maintained and are ready for high-traffic family engagement.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Events Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, event management, or family-focused leisure operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage with guests of all ages.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management systems (PMS).
- Creative mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues on the fly.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as necessitated by event schedules.
