As the Assistant Fleet Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily fleet deployment, optimizing routes to minimize turnaround times, and managing driver performance. You will coordinate directly with PSA for slot bookings and resolve any arising issues regarding container movements or driver availability. A key aspect of this role involves mentoring a team of drivers and coordinators, fostering a culture of safety, punctuality, and continuous improvement.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee day-to-day fleet scheduling and routing to ensure timely container pick-up and delivery aligned with PSA and vessel schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of drivers and transport coordinators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Optimize fleet utilization and operational efficiency by analyzing performance data and deploying resources effectively.
- Liaise with PSA, port operators, shipping lines, and customers to manage slot allocations and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor vessel timelines and ensure seamless alignment of container movements with shipping schedules.
- Manage driver deployment, including shift scheduling and manpower planning to meet dynamic operational demands.
- Ensure strict compliance with LTA, NEA, and other regulatory requirements for heavy vehicle and container transport operations.
- Prepare operational reports, track KPIs (cost per trip, turnaround time), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet operations, preferably within the container haulage or port logistics industry.
- Proven experience managing drivers and front-line transport staff in a high-volume operational setting.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's port operations (PSA terminals), road network, and transport regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Class 3 or Class 4 driving license is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure, adapt to dynamic schedules, and commit to operational hours when required.
