Timedoor is looking for a dynamic and engaging Assistant Japanese Teacher to join our growing academic team in Denpasar, Bali. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our lead instructors to deliver high-quality Japanese language education to our students.
We are seeking an individual who is not only proficient in Japanese but also possesses the patience and communication skills necessary to foster a positive learning environment. You will assist in curriculum delivery, student assessment, and classroom management, ensuring that every student receives the attention they need to succeed in their language learning journey.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the lead teacher in conducting Japanese language classes for students of various proficiency levels.
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students needing extra support with grammar, vocabulary, or kanji.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials, visual aids, and learning resources prior to lessons.
- Monitor student progress, record attendance, and assist in grading assignments and assessments.
- Maintain a supportive and disciplined classroom atmosphere that encourages active student participation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and performance during consultation sessions.
- Participate in periodic curriculum reviews and staff meetings to enhance teaching methodologies.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School diploma; Degree in Japanese Literature, Education, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 level or higher is strongly preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is a significant advantage, though passionate fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Highly organized, patient, and capable of managing classroom dynamics.
- Ability to work part-time hours in Denpasar, Bali.
