Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare Mise en Place 3 days in advance in a proper manner following the production plan and recipe specifications.
- Cook and present high-quality hot and cold dishes complying with established dietary guidelines and portion controls.
- Maintain absolute cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen workstation, equipment, and utensils according to HACCP and Halal standards.
- Monitor food inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO), and report any shortages to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- Assist in the receiving, inspection, and proper storage of daily food supplies and raw ingredients.
- Guide, train, and supervise junior kitchen staff and kitchen assistants to ensure consistency in food preparation (for Senior Cook roles).
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety, infection control, and personal hygiene protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Services, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a hotel, commercial kitchen, restaurant, or healthcare food service environment (Fresh graduates will be considered for Assistant/Junior roles).
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety regulations (HACCP/GMP), and Halal food preparation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume cooking with precision.
- Willingness to work on shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and capability to manage a kitchen section independently (required for Senior Cook roles).
