Ismaya Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Kitchen Manager (Sous Chef) to join our dynamic team in Bali. As a key member of our culinary department, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of excellence, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
In this role, you will support the Head Chef in daily operations, oversee kitchen staff performance, and ensure that all culinary preparations adhere to strict hygiene and safety regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all daily kitchen operations and food production.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high performance, morale, and consistency.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain strict brand standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Develop and update seasonal menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Conduct regular kitchen cleanliness checks and safety drills.
- Assist in cost control and budgeting for the kitchen department.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager role.
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisine.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate or similar hygiene certification.
- Proven ability to manage cost control and inventory.
- Fluency in English is an advantage.
