The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Laboratory Officer to join our iCORE team. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end laboratory inventory and supply chain operations to ensure zero downtime for research activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal procurement teams for the timely acquisition of laboratory consumables and equipment.
- Implement and maintain rigorous Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols within the operational framework.
- Monitor and record laboratory assets, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity in our asset management system.
- Facilitate the logistics of chemical and hazardous waste disposal according to Singapore’s environmental regulations.
- Support the digitalization of supply chain workflows by utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Liaise with facility management for the maintenance and calibration schedules of critical laboratory infrastructure.
Kualifikasi
- A recognized Diploma in Biotechnology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, research facility, or specialized logistics environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing research environment and take initiative in problem-solving.
