Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for chemistry and quality assurance? Nippon Paint, a global leader in coating technology, is seeking a motivated Assistant Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic production and R&D team in Jurong West. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of product excellence by performing precise laboratory tests and supporting our QA initiatives.
You will work closely with our QA Manager to ensure that all coating formulations meet stringent safety and quality specifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute routine laboratory tests on raw materials and finished coating products as delegated by the QA Manager.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of test results in compliance with company ISO standards.
- Monitor and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure precision and operational efficiency.
- Prepare chemical samples for analysis, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of production batches that do not meet quality criteria.
- Support the QA team in conducting root cause analysis for quality deviations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient laboratory workspace.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Nitec in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of chemical testing methods and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with high integrity in reporting results.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Jurong West.
