We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Logistics Manager with a specialization in Chemical Dangerous Goods to join our team in Jurong East. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for streamlining the flow of hazardous materials across the APAC region, ensuring that all logistics operations meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
You will act as the primary point of contact between sales, customers, and logistics partners. Your expertise will ensure that chemical shipments are processed efficiently, documented accurately, and delivered safely, minimizing risks and optimizing supply chain performance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Process and manage all inbound and outbound orders for chemical dangerous goods for APAC customers.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange compliant shipments and track cargo status.
- Ensure strict compliance with international Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations, including MSDS and MSDR requirements.
- Prepare and verify essential shipping documentation, such as airway bills, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor inventory levels of hazardous chemicals and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure packaging standards are met for hazardous materials.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) or certification in Dangerous Goods handling is preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management within the chemical industry.
- Strong working knowledge of IMDG (Maritime) or IATA (Air) Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Proficiency in using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in the Singaporean logistics sector.
