As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end financial reporting process, including month-end closing activities, taxation, and intercompany reconciliations. You will act as a key partner to the finance leadership team, contributing to system enhancements and driving finance initiatives that improve operational efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports in accordance with MFRS/IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Oversee tax compliance filings and ensure all tax-related documentation is current and accurate.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process automation within the finance department.
- Monitor daily finance operations to ensure strict adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support regional finance initiatives and special projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, or general accounting.
- Solid understanding of local tax laws, regulations, and statutory reporting requirements in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical ability with a sharp eye for detail and the capacity to handle large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate financial findings to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight reporting deadlines.
