We are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting to join our dynamic team in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the fund accounting team, ensuring the accurate and timely production of Net Asset Values (NAVs), financial statements, and investor communications. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex accounting matters. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations of the fund accounting team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Review and approve Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, management accounts, and capital call/distribution statements.
- Manage the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or other relevant standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client servicing, addressing complex queries and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process, liaising directly with external auditors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior accountants and accountants through regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within the fund accounting workflow.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of private equity, real estate, or hedge fund accounting.
- Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva, eFront, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in audit management and client relationship management within the financial services sector.
