IOI Palm Wood, a subsidiary of the renowned IOI Group, is a leader in the palm wood processing industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Manager, Production to join our team in Segamat, Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supervising and optimizing daily production operations to meet output goals, quality standards, and safety regulations.
You will lead a team of production supervisors and operators, implement efficient production schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Your efforts will directly impact productivity, cost efficiency, and the overall success of our manufacturing plant. Collaboration with quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics departments is essential to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to achieve targets in volume, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Lead, train, and evaluate production supervisors and operators to ensure high performance and morale.
- Develop and implement production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor output to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory levels.
- Prepare detailed reports on production metrics and present to plant management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Wood Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and process optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards is highly desirable.
- Preferably having experience in the wood processing or timber industry.
