Join Kuok Group's dynamic APAC technical delivery team as a Design Manager specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural projects. This pivotal role requires leadership in managing external design teams and conducting rigorous design reviews to ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize project workflows, mitigate risks, and deliver innovative engineering solutions. The position offers the opportunity to shape landmark infrastructure projects across Asia while mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement in design methodologies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead external design teams for civil, structural, and architectural projects
- Conduct comprehensive design reviews ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical conflicts
- Manage project documentation including drawings, specifications, and quality control reports
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables within budget constraints
- Implement sustainable design practices and industry best practices
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for structural and architectural challenges
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project management or design coordination
- Professional registration (e.g., PE, P.Eng., or equivalent) required
- Expertise in Singapore building codes and international construction standards
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
