TPG OIL & GAS SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance to join our expanding team at the Tanjung Langsat plant. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of our production processes, ensuring full adherence to international regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our Quality Management Systems (QMS).
As an Assistant Manager, you will lead the QA team in monitoring product compliance, conducting root cause analysis for any non-conformances, and championing a culture of safety and excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a background in the oil and gas or chemical manufacturing sector, dedicated to maintaining our reputation for high-quality production outputs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Assurance policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular plant audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate quality issues.
- Supervise and mentor the QA team to ensure consistent performance and professional growth.
- Oversee inspection activities for incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet internal specifications.
- Collaborate with the Production and Engineering departments to optimize process efficiency and product yield.
- Prepare comprehensive quality performance reports for senior management review.
- Manage calibration schedules for laboratory and plant testing equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Quality Assurance within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant OHSAS/HSE regulations.
- Proven ability to lead a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Experience in managing regulatory audits and dealing with external quality inspectors.
