APM Corporate Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager, QA & Technical to join our manufacturing operations in Kulim, Kedah. As the Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of product quality while fostering a culture of technical innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure compliance with international quality benchmarks. Your expertise will help troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead a dedicated team of QA and technical professionals to success.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Assurance and Technical engineering teams to ensure all plant quality metrics and operational targets are met.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Drive root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for customer complaints and internal non-conformances.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production departments to optimize manufacturing processes and technical workflows.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics, regularly reporting performance directly to plant management.
- Manage supplier quality audits and incoming material inspections to ensure raw materials align with organizational standards.
- Facilitate training programs for staff regarding quality standards, safety regulations, and technical best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing), Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in QA/QC or technical engineering roles within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of managing internal and external audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.) and handling customer quality inquiries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse, multi-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
