As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee a comprehensive quality framework that spans from supplier audits to the final product. You will play a critical role in managing Quality and Food Safety (QFS) compliance, navigating the complexities of Halal certification, and driving risk assessment strategies. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and execute comprehensive supplier audits and facility inspections to ensure adherence to 7-Eleven global and local standards.
- Maintain and update Quality & Food Safety (QFS) compliance protocols across the supply chain.
- Manage the end-to-end Halal certification process, ensuring all products and suppliers comply with JAKIM requirements.
- Provide QA technical approval for new product development (NPD) projects, ensuring safety and quality from concept to shelf.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments for new and existing products to identify and mitigate potential food safety hazards.
- Oversee the product surveillance program, including laboratory testing and sensory evaluations.
- Monitor and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Ensure total compliance with Malaysian Food Act 1983 and Food Regulations 1985.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 4-6 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably within the food retail or FMCG sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Halal standards (MS1500) and JAKIM certification procedures.
- Certified Lead Auditor or strong experience in conducting HACCP, ISO 22000, or GMP audits.
- Proven ability to perform complex risk assessments and implement corrective action plans.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
