We are currently seeking a result-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our CCIS container depot team in Port Klang, Selangor. In this key role, you will support the Operations Manager in leading daily container depot operations, including receiving, storage, inspection, maintenance and repair (M&R), and dispatch. You will be responsible for yard planning and optimization, ensuring efficient container stacking and movement. Managing equipment utilization, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high productivity levels. Implementing QSSE (Quality, Safety, Security, Environment) standards is a core aspect, requiring vigilance and proactive measures. You will analyze operational performance, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will supervise, train, and motivate depot staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence.
As an ideal candidate, you bring a degree in Logistics or Business, with at least 3–5 years of experience in container depot or terminal operations. You possess strong knowledge of M&R, yard planning, and equipment management, and are well-versed in QSSE compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and depot management systems. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must.

- Assist the Operations Manager in all container depot operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Oversee Maintenance and Repair (M&R) activities to ensure containers and equipment meet quality standards.
- Plan and optimize yard layout, container placement, and movement to maximize efficiency.
- Manage equipment utilization and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Implement and enforce QSSE policies and procedures across depot operations.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, hauliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Prepare operational reports, monitor KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise, train, and motivate depot staff to achieve productivity and safety targets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in container depot or terminal operations.
- Strong knowledge of M&R processes, yard planning, and equipment management.
- Familiarity with QSSE compliance and safety regulations in logistics environments.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and depot management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
