- Supervise and coordinate piping works onboard vessels during ship repair projects
- Ensure all piping installations, modifications, and repairs meet quality standards and specifications
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Train and guide junior piping technicians and workers
- Inspect and verify piping systems for proper installation and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of piping work, materials used, and progress reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
- Assist in troubleshooting piping issues and implementing corrective actions
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in piping works, preferably in shipbuilding or ship repairs
- Familiarity with piping system designs, specifications, and installation procedures
- Knowledge of marine industry standards and safety regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Certification in welding or piping systems would be an advantage
