Times Printers, a trusted leader in the printing industry, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Printer/Printer to join our production team in Tuas. In this role, you will be responsible for operating 5-color plus coater and 8-color sheetfed offset printing machines, ensuring efficient output while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with our prepress and finishing departments to deliver exceptional results for a wide range of projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include setting up and adjusting machines, monitoring print runs for color consistency and registration, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues. You will also be required to follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Tanggung Jawab
- Set up, operate, and monitor 5C + coater and 8C sheetfed offset printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Check job orders and ensure correct paper, inks, and coatings are used for each print run.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate color registration, density, and overall print quality.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect printed sheets during production and make real-time adjustments to maintain standards.
- Assist in loading paper, mixing inks, and preparing press consumables.
- Follow all workplace safety and environmental procedures, keeping the work area organized and safe.
- Document production data, report issues, and communicate with supervisors to meet deadlines.
Kualifikasi
- At least 2–3 years of experience operating sheetfed offset presses (Heidelberg, Komori, or similar preferred).
- Good knowledge of 5C + coater and 8C printing processes and color management.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, proofs, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality output.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy materials.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work shifts if required.
