Are you a fashion-forward professional with a passion for menswear and supply chain excellence? Lidl & Kaufland Asia is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Product Development Manager / Senior Product Developer (Menswear) to join our dynamic team in Pasir Panjang.
In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our product development process. You will work closely with the Senior Product Development Manager to bridge the gap between design concepts and final production. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Senior Product Development Manager in the end-to-end development process for menswear collections from concept to bulk production.
- Coordinate with internal design teams to translate creative sketches into technical specifications and tech packs.
- Manage communications with regional suppliers to ensure timely submission of prototypes, samples, and strike-offs.
- Monitor and track development timelines to ensure strictly adhered to production deadlines.
- Analyze garment costing and provide suggestions to optimize material usage and manufacturing efficiency without compromising quality.
- Conduct fit sessions, review sample quality, and provide clear, actionable feedback to factory partners.
- Support the team in sourcing new fabrications and trims that align with current fashion trends and sustainability goals.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Product Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in product development within the retail or apparel manufacturing industry, specifically in menswear.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabric performance, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data and multiple product lines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with international vendors.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
