Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a visionary academic to join our esteemed faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Malay Literature and Cultural Studies. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in Malay Literature and related cultural studies.
- Conduct independent, high-impact research resulting in peer-reviewed publications in top-tier academic journals.
- Supervise graduate student research and provide mentorship to undergraduate students.
- Contribute actively to departmental committees, faculty governance, and administrative tasks.
- Develop and maintain research collaborations with local and international academic institutions.
- Organize and participate in academic seminars, conferences, and public outreach initiatives.
- Secure external research grants to support individual and institutional research agendas.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Malay Literature, Malay Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- A proven track record of excellence in teaching at the university level.
- An active research portfolio with a clear trajectory of high-quality publications.
- Fluency in both Malay and English, with excellent communication skills for instruction and publication.
- Ability to foster collaborative, interdisciplinary research environments.
- Experience in curriculum development and the integration of digital humanities tools (preferred).
- Demonstrated success or potential for securing competitive research funding.
