We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical) to join our team in Tiong Bahru.
About the Role
In this critical role, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing all mechanical aspects of our data centre projects. You will ensure that design, procurement, and construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will be the go-to person for mechanical engineering matters on site, coordinating between various stakeholders and driving project progress.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day management and coordination of mechanical works for large-scale data centre construction projects.
- Review and coordinate mechanical building services designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and local authority standards.
- Prepare and manage detailed project schedules, progress reports, and technical submissions to track milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and M&E consultants to ensure seamless integration of all mechanical systems.
- Monitor project costs, manage contract variations, and assist in the preparation of progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control, safety regulations, and adherence to project timelines.
- Lead and actively participate in site meetings, resolving technical or construction-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, ensuring a smooth transition to the client’s facilities management team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in M&E project management, specifically within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in data centre, mission-critical facility, or highly serviced building projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes, regulations, and workplace safety standards (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, WSH Act).
- Demonstrated experience managing sub-contractors and effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure with a strong commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
